Bike Video: Bicycle Culture by Design

Recently, I've been listening to and enjoying TED Talks podcasts. So far, I haven't heard one about bikes or cycling, so I had the idea to search for them on YouTube and found what I think is an excellent talk.

It's presented by "urban mobility expert" Mikael Colville-Andersen. It's only 15 minutes long and I think you'll enjoy what he has to say...

If you're reading this post in an email (rather than on the blog) you'll probably need to click this link to watch the video https://youtu.be/pX8zZdLw7cs

To better road designs for cycling everywhere,

Jim

Thanks for the question, Nick. If you have a Specialized Turbo Vado 6.0, that's a pretty amazing e-bike that already has nice wheels on it and a quality cassette, too. If you wanted to upgrade to wheels with carbon rims you can certainly do it, but to ensure you get the correct size to fit your bike, I would need to know more. What you could do, though, is contact a great wheel company such as Boyd Cycling. They make fine wheels and I'm sure they'd be happy to talk to you about your bike and make some suggestions on a carbon wheel upgrade. Here's a link so that you can see their wheels: https://boydcycling.com/collections/carbon-mtb And here is their contact information if you'd like to reach out to them via phone or mail:
