Turns out he's not a bike store mechanic, but instead he's a web developer for an insurance company. He does bike 24 miles round trip on his daily commute through Cleveland, an inspiration for many strips. Lots of snow and ice in recent strips, but he plans to do bike camping and other themes soon.<BR/>In case you're wondering, the "Lauterbrunnental Leaflet" is indeed a satire on the Rivendell Reader.
